FEXmagnet ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website fexmagnet.com and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase a subscription, or receive communications from us, including via SMS/text messaging.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Account information: Full name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
  • Billing information: Payment details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Subscription preferences: Lead volume, target states, and delivery channel preferences (email, SMS, webhooks).
  • Communications: Any messages you send us via email or support channels.

We also collect information about prospective insurance leads through advertising on third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram):

  • Lead information: Full name, phone number, email address, state, and zip code submitted through our lead generation forms on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Consent to contact: Leads who submit our forms consent to be contacted about final expense insurance by licensed insurance agents.

We also automatically collect:

  • Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
  • Device data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
  • Process transactions and manage your subscription.
  • Deliver lead notifications via your chosen channels (email, SMS, webhooks).
  • Send account-related communications (billing receipts, service updates).

4. SMS/Text Messaging Policy

If you opt in to SMS notifications in your dashboard settings, the following terms apply:

  • Consent: By enabling SMS notifications and providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from FEXmagnet related to new lead deliveries and account alerts. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your subscription plan and lead volume. You may receive up to the number of leads in your plan per week.
  • Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opt-out: You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by disabling SMS notifications in your dashboard settings. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for support, or contact us at nickg@fexmagnet.com.
  • Carriers: Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and all major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for delivering lead notifications and account alerts.

5. Lead Data — Collection, Sharing & Use

FEXmagnet is a lead generation platform. We collect information from prospective insurance consumers ("leads") through advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and other channels. Lead data is shared with licensed insurance agents ("subscribers") who purchase lead delivery subscriptions through our platform.

What lead data is shared: Full name, phone number, email address, state, and zip code — as submitted by the lead through our advertising forms.

Who receives lead data: Licensed insurance agents who subscribe to FEXmagnet and have selected the lead's state as a target market. Leads are distributed via round-robin to ensure fair allocation among agents.

How agents receive leads: Via email, SMS, and/or webhook integrations (GoHighLevel, Zapier, or custom webhooks) configured by the agent. When agents use third-party integrations, lead data is transmitted to those services at the agent's direction.

Purpose: Lead data is shared solely for the purpose of connecting consumers with licensed insurance agents regarding final expense insurance products the consumer expressed interest in.

Agent responsibilities: Subscribing agents are responsible for ensuring their use of lead data complies with all applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and state insurance regulations.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or share subscriber (agent) personal information for marketing purposes. Lead data is shared with subscribing agents as described in Section 5. We may also share data with:

  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database & authentication), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Meta (advertising), and Vercel (hosting) — only as necessary to operate our services.
  • Insurance agents: Lead data (name, phone, email, state, zip) is shared with licensed insurance agent subscribers as the core function of our service. See Section 5 for details.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted passwords (bcrypt hashing via Supabase Auth), and row-level security (RLS) policies on our database. While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and lead data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).

9. Rights for Leads (Prospective Insurance Consumers)

If you submitted your information through one of our advertising forms on Facebook, Instagram, or another platform, you have the following rights:

  • Opt out: You may request that we stop sharing your information with insurance agents at any time by emailing nickg@fexmagnet.com with the subject line "Opt Out."
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We will delete your information from our systems within 30 days and notify any agents who received your data.
  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

10. Your Rights (Subscribers)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Opt out of SMS notifications at any time (reply STOP or use dashboard settings).
  • Export your lead data via CSV from your dashboard.
  • Request a copy of all data we hold about you.

11. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers on our platform. Analytics data is collected in aggregate form to improve our services.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
